This FAQ was originally started by Blitzkrieg, as a convenient list of moves and scoring tips for THPS players everywhere. Over the course of a couple months, the FAQ had grown into a tremendous piece of reference material that even overshadowed the official strategy guide. Unfortunately, work requirements demanded that he pass on the work he had done to someone else who was more able to maintain the quality and timeliness of the FAQ. Almost half of this site still consists of the original contents of the text FAQ written by Blitzkrieg, a testament to the excellence and accuracy of his efforts.
Enter Caliban, who had recently become something of a figurehead for the growing movement of THPS hackers. Caliban's primary contribution to the community was a site devoted to documenting the internals of THPS, providing both hundreds of Game Shark codes and the information necessary for anyone with a basic understanding of the hexadecimal system -- also documented on the site -- to create hundreds more. With Blitzkrieg's request for someone to take over the FAQ, it seemed only natural that the new maintainer be someone also deeply involved with the THPS community.
Neversoft has no involvement with the FAQ whatsoever, but of course the FAQ would not be possible without them.
